Yes, I also think there is not too much red except for the border.

Too much red, yes. I don't like red. :/ Might be just the border, though.
On the fractal itself. Quite a fres composition, the "reversed eight". The yellow on the top is very heavy, but the bottom of the fractal has nothing clear to look at. So, top-heavy. By cutting the image to two pieces (the top, the bottom), I think, you'd have gotten two pretty neat fractals.
Not a bad one, but certainly not one of your best.

I don't think there's too much red... except maybe for the border. That might be overkill.
But I actually like this fractal lots. I like all the details... the white glints, and the fiery patterns in the yellow part. Nice work!
