Fille de Livbelle Ambléphal, elle-même fille de la très respectée prêtresse Sina, et d’Ambrien Damporal, un notable d’Amporal dont les aïeux ont fondé la ville éponyme, Minabelle naît en T363 à Vral dans le Varmoz et y reste quelques années avant de partir à Liv en T366 avec sa mère qui s’est séparée de son mari. Minabelle vit dans la solitude de ce petit bourg de montagne isolé où sa mère a été exilée par ses grands-parents quelques années auparavant et où elle a fait construire un manoir familial qui servira de pensionnat pour les jeunes filles orphelines et abandonnées de la région.

Minabelle habite pendant 10 ans dans cet endroit sinistre et maussade qu’elle détestera tout sa vie, travaillant dans le pensionnat comme une esclave, nourrie à chaque instant de la haine portée par sa mère envers ses grands-parents et auxquels elle-même vouera sans conviction une haine tiède et apprise.

Mais en T376, un évènement va changer sa vie : elle apprend que sa mère, absente depuis quelques semaines, s’est donnée la mort après avoir assassiné ses parents respectivement à Sinada et Fort Arlana. Minabelle se retrouve alors seule à 13 ans à la tête du pensionnat et réalise avec horreur le monstre que sa mère a créé : une guilde de jeunes femmes assassins, les Filles de Liv, formée dans le but de l’aider à réaliser son meurtrier dessein. Pressée par les pensionnaires restantes qui n’ont pas pris part au carnage de perpétuer l’héritage de sa mère, Minabelle prend peur et décide de fuir seule pour retrouver son père, où qu’il se trouve.

Sans aucune idée précise où le trouver, s’en suivront des années d’errance et de misère sur les routes, seule et sans argent. Obligée de mendier pour survivre, malade et désœuvrée, elle découvrira avec stupéfaction des dons de guérison qui l’empêcheront de mourir et qui lui permettront de continuer sa quête.

Après avoir cherché en vain à Vral, Amporal et Yterv, elle finira par retrouver sa trace par hasard à Baltast et on imagine l’émotion qui les submergeront tous deux quand ils se retrouveront en T379 après plus de 13 ans de séparation.

A partir de cette date, Minabelle connaît une époque bénie et heureuse sous la protection de son père qui la fait entrer à la prestigieuse et onéreuse Académie du Varmoz où elle devient une des élèves les plus brillantes. Elle commence également à écrire ses mémoires à partir de cette date.

En T386, épanouie et heureuse comme elle ne l’a jamais été, elle rencontre Arpos Fazolt, un jeune notable philanthrope, fils d’un ami de son père, dont elle tombe amoureuse aussitôt et qu’elle épousera l’année suivante au cours d’un mariage d’une magnificence absolue.

Après la naissance de leur fille Izobelle en T388, Minabelle devient à 22 ans la plus jeune instructrice de l’Académie et y restera à ce poste pendant six ans.

La mort de son père en T391 et celle de son mari en T394, mobilisé contre l’armée trontorimoise qui vient de soumettre la Zdrévie, mettent un terme au conte de fée et Minabelle est de nouveau contrainte de fuir, cette fois avec sa propre fille, Izobelle. Elles partent d’abord pour Amporal dans le fief de son mari où elles restent quelques années, profitant d’un sursaut révolutionnaire du Varmoz qui entre en guérilla ralentissant considérablement l’avancée des envahisseurs. Pendant ces années, ses relations se détériorent avec sa fille qui lui en veut d’avoir renoncé à l’héritage laissé par sa mère Livbelle.

En T401, l’armée trontorimoise finit de mater les dernières poches de résistance et s’empare de Baltast et se rapproche dangereusement d’Amporal. Bientôt chassée du fief paternel, Minabelle n’a plus d’autres choix que de se rendre à Liv, au grand plaisir de sa fille.

Elles retapent le manoir familial, mais les souvenirs de ce lieu honni la force à chercher une autre solution. Elle finit, grâce à son nom et à sa renommée en tant qu’ancienne instructrice de l’Académie, par obtenir un poste vacant d’archiviste à l’Arcanium de Sinada.

Tiraillée entre l’envie de rester avec sa fille qui pourtant la déteste et de quitter ce lieu qu’elle abhorre, Minabelle décide de renouer avec ses racines et se rend dans la capitale de la Sinédianne , fondée par sa grand-mère Sina 60 ans auparavant.

Elle passera les prochaines années dans la paix à écrire ses mémoires et à s’occuper de ce lieu magique.

Un soir d’automne de T405, alors qu’elle est dans la vieille librairie abandonnée de l’Arcanium, elle fait une expérience curieuse : elle croit voir près d’elle d’étranges formes fantômatiques. D’abord celles de deux jeunes filles dont l’une lui semble étrangement familière qui semble consulter sur son bureau le journal même dont elle est en train de terminer la rédaction. Elle croit voir aussi des formes encapuchonnées tapies dans l’ombre dont elle ne devine que trop bien l’identité et le but. Après quelques instants, ces visions s’estompent et persuadée d’avoir eu des visions du futur, elle se hâte de terminer l’écriture de son journal.

Le lendemain, après l’avoir caché dans une étagère de son bureau, elle finit assassinée par les Filles de Liv.

Forced to beg in order to survive, sick and idle, she eventually discovered with amazement gifts of healing which would prevent her from dying and allow her to continue her quest. From this date, Minabelle knew a blessed and happy time under the protection of her father who made her enter the prestigious and expensive Academy of Varmoz where she became one of the most brilliant students. She also began to write her memoirs from this date.

In T401, the Trontorim army finished subduing the last pockets of resistance and seized Baltast and came dangerously close to Amporal. Soon driven from her father's stronghold, Minabelle had no choice but to go back to Liv, much to her daughter's delight.

They revamp the family mansion, but the memories of this despicable place forced her to seek another solution. Thanks to her name and her fame as a former instructor of the Academy, she eventually obtained a vacant post of archivist in the Arcanium of Sinada.

Torn between the desire to stay with her daughter who however hated her and to leave this place she loathed, Minabelle decided to reconnect with her roots and traveled to the capital of Sinédianne , founded by her grandmother, Sina exactly 60 years ago. She would spend the next few years in peace writing her memoirs and caring for this magical place.

One autumn evening in T405, while in the old abandoned Arcanium library, she had a curious experience: she thought she saw strange ghostly shapes near her. First those of two young girls, one of whom seemed strangely familiar to her, who seemed to be consulting on her desk the very diary she was finishing writing. She also saw hooded forms lurking in the shadows whose identity and purpose she could only guess too well. After a few moments, these visions faded and convinced that she had a vision of the future, she hurried to finish writing her journal.

The next day, after hiding it on a shelf in her office, she ended up murdered by the Daughters of Liv.
