« En Taqshilie , l’arrivée de la saison estivale est toujours synonyme de grande sécheresse, de famine et de mort. Ainsi, la tradition veut que les prêtresses du temple d’Itharq passent nuits et jours à prier le dieu de la fertilité, de l’abondance et de la nature pour quelques gouttes de pluie en dansant souvent jusqu’à l’épuisement, voire en s'offrant en sacrifice, pour apaiser sa colère. »

Work created as part of The3DAssembly ’s “It’s summertime” contest. I took the opportunity to use certain elements of my universe as a background for this illustration.

"In Taqshilia , the arrival of the summer season is always synonymous with great drought, famine and death. Thus, tradition has it that the priestesses of the temple of Itharq spend nights and days praying to the god of fertility, abundance and nature for a few drops of rain, dancing until exhaustion, even offering themselves as sacrifice, to appease his anger."
