Description
Personal work.I'm trying to get some new pieces done before an exhibition I'm doing next weekend. This is something I've wanted to paint for a while, so I decided this would be a good time to do it. Spent a lot of time on it. Don't know how many hours exactley, but around 30 I guess.
Painted in Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq.
Hope you like it

Hi.
If you are asking me if you can use this image for free, then it is not okay. If not, you can send me an email, where we can discuss the terms. My email is yngve@artbyyngve.com

Thanks, but no thanks. Personally, I'd think that having your artwork on the front cover, and having people see it's your artwork would be good enough, since maybe someone famous will read my book, the love your artwork and make you the next Van Gogh or something. By the way all artwork will be given full credit on my crediting page. An I can't pay you if that's what you're insinuating.

is a character in DnD Dragonlance novels, she is the leader of the blue dragonflight, she is incredibly strong and have a big leadership, even in Dragonlord standards, [link] --> for more information.

This is beautifully painted! The only thing I could possibly suggest, is the way she's sitting on the dragon;
to me, her legs seem to be a little too close together for her to be sitting astrade a dragon, which would
have a rather broad back. If you think of how a person sits on a horse, bareback, the thighs are parted.
Even with her seated over the wing-joints, I think the pose could do with a little tweaking.
But besides that, I think this is really well done

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it, and I see what you mean about her legs. Oh well, I'll keep it in mind for another painting

You've a good composition going with that limited palette. How would this look if the reflected light on the dragon's underside went a bit toward the warmer hues; perhaps on the red side of purple?

Thanks for the feedback Kate. It could probably work with a little warmer hues on his underside. Didn't think about trying that since I wanted the dragon to be pretty dark.
Thanks
