This beautiful image was created with Stable Diffusion SDXL Beta via NightCafe. I used my favorite complementary colors here to make it more impressive and colorful. For faces, the new Beta SD seems to work especially well, even though I always have to touch up. The eyes in particular tend to get a bit asymmetrical. Adjusting the contrast and brightness is also sometimes necessary. All in all, the AI is very well suited for character design, if you have a little practice. However, I would still have a book cover done by a professional graphic artist, because it is easier to rework and you can depict more complex scenes better. Of course, that doesn't always have to be the case. The resolution needed for a real print product is also an argument for a professional Designer.
