Game Art HQ [link] is hosting a Street Fighter Tribute Project where people can show their love for this series by portraying ALL the characters in the various games of the franchise and participating in themed challenges. I decided to make a pic for one of the challenges: Ryu vs Ken- SF Alpha style.

Since I'm a huge fan of Bengus' Alpha designs I tried to kinda emulate the style of his illustrations. I know I wasn't that successful ( Bengus is too awesome for my skills!) but I enjoyed myself while making this little tribute.

I got the background at a christian blog. I wanted it to seem like the grassy field Australia stage in Alpha 2
