Soldier:Its been 3 days. We've tried to locate Agent Shadow but so far nothing. His tracker was left at his house which is strange to. We were hoping you might be able to help. Without my partner im almost hopeless as a soldier.

Sonic: Shadow? Shadow the hedgehog? Thats really unlike him... I'll do it, but do you have any clue where he is?

Soldier:Well the last place we could track him to was over near the endless caves. Just up north west. Can't miss it. One can get lost easily in those caves. Some come in but...most can't make it back out.

Sonic: I'm not comming back out till i find him. *he races off to the caves comming to a halt at the entrance. He shouts out for shadow and hears nothing so he walks into the cave thinking he is deep within the caverens*

*the caves and tunnels fan out in different directions like a giant maze*

Sonic: Man not cool*thinking* I have no idea how deep these go... and its not all to bright to see either... normally id say i could loop through all of these in about 5 minutes, but its not that easy...
*he quickly makes a last minute guess going through one of the middle pathways* I hope i dont get lost...

*he comes to a huge cave section thats got bloodied chans bolted to the walls. He can't really see to the other side of the room since its so dark*

Sonic: *his eyes are widened with shock as he tenses his body on the defensive. for once he wasn't too sure of himself and his surroundings. his senses were thrown off because of the dark. greatly uncomforted he gripped onto the wall as he continued through the darkness. there was no way he wouldnt keep his promise he had made to the desperate Soldier*

*the impact of the fall dizzyed him as he strugglesd to get back up. it was nearly pitch black now and it was making Sonic so lost he could barely tell the floor from the ceiling anymore* SHADOW *he screamed as he clung to the wall. he closed his eyes and averted his focus to listening. it was the only way he was going to be able to continue unless there was a pocket of light*

*a muffled noise came from ahead. Sounding weak*

Sonic: Shadow is that you? *he called again before picking up his pace heading closer and closer to the noise still with a hand planted firmly to the wall*

*the figure looks up abit, showing dark red eyes with a tint of green in the middle*

*It took him a bit to get close enough to notice that the figure in the dark was not the one in which he was looking for*
Sonic: Who are you? *he said deffensivley*

???:Mmmm~ Depends.*seems to melt away, a quiet slithering noise coming towards Sonic as the figure rises up in front of him looking just like him but with bright poison green eyes as aposed to Sonic's emerald green*What If I was you~?

???:*hits the wall with a sickening crack, laughing as his eyes burnt into Sonic's*Nice try. My turn.*shoots a lazor of dark energy at him but it just misses*

Sonic: *lands quickly and jumps back up, bouncing quickly from the cracked wall then bounding in for a homing attack stricking the dark figure. He mainly stuck to one area of the cave which he was growing familiar to the formations of the rock around him.* Don't get too cocky.

Sonic: *eyes narrow in distrust, knealt down ready to strike in case of another attack* Like what?

Shadow:*chained against the wall, half his body covered in liquid darkness including his mouth. He looks rather pale, skinny and unkept*

???:Hmmm...No.*closes his fist as the light goes out, shrouding them in darkness again*

*Sonic hurls himself into the darkness hoping to hit the dark figure only to find himself disorientated in the middle of the cavern again. it was too dark to see anything. sonic was vulnerable to attak.* Show yourself Coward. *said sonic attempting to keep his cool*

Sonic: Ngggh... *upon the slash he was able to use his quick reflexs to nail him a good punch to the face as he slouched over gripping his now cut and bleeding stomach* Is that all you got?

Sonic: *ears perking* Thanks for shedding some light *he pants. jumping up for another strike, pounding in for another homing attack and bouncing out the speedy spikey ball into a strong kick pushing the dark figure back. Now before kick that cheating ass of yours, how bout you take down my friend over there.

???:*laughs*No.*aims his hand at Sonic's head as it glows, about to shout a lazor at his head*

Sonic: *quickly runs out the way of the dark figure. as of being the fastest thing alive. he could move faster then his aim of his laser*

???:*growls as the lazor shoots the rocks and makes some heavy rocks above him fall. He quickly warps away*
Shadow:*coughs as the darkness drops off him but he stays shackled to the wall, panting weakly*Wh..what are y-you d..doing here...F..Faker...?

Sonic: Trying to help you... but it wasn't exactly easy. *said sonic moving his hand away from his open cut on his stomach, blood staining his blue fur dark. He bagan to fiddle with the locks and has difficult before resorting to a fallen rock beating at the strong metal* Why won't it open! *he grunts with a bit of frustraition*

Sonic: *the look of shadow was enough to make sonic act though worried. He cocked the gun upward and fired ne of the shackles off the arm causing shadow's left arm to fall loosesly. Sonic Gripped his falling body and grunted. his strained body caused pain in the still bleeding gash on his stomach* Were going to get out of here together *he panted*
