*at the far east corner of a populated vampire civilization stood a lone platform with a ripped and torn shade that spread across it. It was in the middle of a populated area that was littered with rubbish and blood smears like the back ally of a city. A large group of blood drinkers were forming in front of the platform, Blood Slaves being sold one by one to the vampires. Each one being more bony and under kept then the last. The salesman yanks up the next Blood Slave by the chains around his wrists, throwing him onto the stage*
Salesman:Lets start the bids at 30 gold pieces for this one. He's of royal blood and is a very rare colour.

*as he is yanked onto the stage he falls to his hands and knees, looking towards the crowd of vampires, all eyeing him, it was like he could read all of their minds, 'Royal blood' 'delicious' 'Must have!' It made the poor slave feel vulnerably with all the eyes peering at his body, almost drooling at his scent. Unlike most of the slaves he was a little more well kept, almost like he was just captured and thrown in at the last minute, his fur was a little ruffled but still had the elegant look to it, it seemed to glisten in the dim lights of the room, he also wasn't as skinny as the rest of the slaves, meaning he'd last longer then the others which made the poor slave quiver in fear, his pink rosy eyes were easily giving away the fear he had for his life.*

*the bids start at the low price but quickly build. Vampire by vampire the bids press on. More and more money is thrown at the salesman until it comes to the ridiculous price of 275 gold pieces. The one that had placed the final bet was a mean looking vampire. A black cat with wild chest fur and blazing red eyes. He looked very intimidating from his spot in the front row, eying Rain out with his hungry eyes, drool dripping off his fangs at his dark thought on what he would do with his prize*
Salesman:Going once. Going twice. So--
???:475!*a hand raises in the back of the group, the black cat cringing and gritting his fangs as he snaps his head back to try and see what fool had dared take his prize. The vampires parted to show a rather thin figure compared to all the other greedy, plump vampires that surrounded him. He was jet black with line green stripes that sliced through the darkness of his fur. He possessed wild red eyes and two large bat wings that were slightly shredded at the webbing. His eyes met with Rain's as he frowned abit*
Salesman:I-Im sorry sir? What was your b-bid?
???:*snaps his eyes to him*475. Double the last bid.
Dagger:*the black cat hisses angrily*How DARE you--!
Salesman:*looks at him*Can you top that, sir?
Dagger:*blinks*Wh-Wha?? I-I...

*the slave seems as surprised as the rest of all the vampires there, Was he really worth that much gold?! He was surprised when the bid went over hundred! But 475!? he blinked a few more times, more in disbelief before his mind finally clicked to what was happening. This wasn't a time for feeling desired! This... This vampire was going to eat him if he got him! The fear swept over him once again as he stared at the two vampires in horror of what was going to happen to him when he was brought!*Β

Dagger:*frowns at him deeply*575.
Xbox:*without hesitation he tops it*700.*this earns a gasp from the crowd and even a few steps back from the salesman. He'd never sold a Blood Slave for this much before.
Dagger:*flinches as he chokes on his words before blurting out*80--

Salesman:*pales as he looks at Xbox, in shock at the bidding war*

*As the bidding went higher and higher with each one trying to gain ownership of him, in the back of his made he was hoping.. Preying! That the vampire who won the 'prize' would be the black hedgehog, he out of all of them... Seemed, surprisingly a little less threatening then the black cat who was nearly dying from the amount of money being bidded... All that money... Just for him...*

Dagger:*stutters in shock as he stares at Xbox in panic, knowing he was losing. He tries one last time to win the war*20--
Xbox:Three.Thousand.Gold pieces.*this earns loud gasps and muttering between the crowd and even the salesman as he stares at Dagger, dead serious about his decision*
Dagger:*snarls deeply as he balls his fist, storming off*I'll get him one way or another, bastard...*shoves through the crowd as he pushed two people into the ground on his way*
Salesman:I-I guess that means you win the bidding, sir.
Xbox:*nods silently, knowing he was going to win anyway. He walks around to the steps and looks at his prize*Come.

Rain:*he stares at him for a few seconds before he snaps back to reality, slowly getting to his feet and shakily walking down the steps to Xbox, the shackles around his legs making it extremely hard for him to be able to move, trembling like a leaf he was so terrified that he didn't even dare to look up at the vampire in the eyes, but he could also feel all of the envy from all the other vampires in the room.*

Xbox:*looks down at Rain as he runs his claws through the fur on his had, pulling his hand back as he looks at his palm*Healthy. No fur clumps.*looks quite proud of his decision to pay so much as he picks up his prize who could barely walk, holding him close to his glowing chest symbol as he walks down the street through the many groups of vampires that littered the city. The walk takes quite a while and he seemed to slightly be growing tired by the end of it. They were now in a more deserted part of the city. Where all the unwanted ones were. And at the very edge of the street was a large, slightly run down mansion that had large windows, most were boarded up and two were even shattered from the outside from someone throwing bricks or rocks at them most likely. He placed Rain down by the door and put his hand on a special lock on the side of his door that would stick a needle into his palm to test his blood. Once it registered it was his families blood it clicked open as he walked the prince inside, pinching him by the scruff of his neck to have him walk*
*Inside the house was not very glamorous. It was very dark and gloomy. It was like someone had fired the maid years ago and left everything on the floor. The kitchen, living room and probably the main bedroom were the cleanest rooms in the house cause they'd be the only ones he'd go to. There were drag marks and claw marks on the ground. Even claw marks lining the walls where he must of taken out his frustration. It didn't come across to Rain as creepy, really. it came across more like lonely and depressing*

Rain:*flinches ever so slightly to the scruff ofΒ his neck, as he followed the vampire to where he wanted to go, he noticed the claw marks on the walls and floors, blinking as his ears drooped a little from the thought of how lonely this vampire must be in a huge place like this...*

Xbox:*he walks to the door that went into the stairs, opening it as he reaches in the flicks a switch that lights up 4 small special bulbs that go down the stairs to the basement. The lights glowed a faint red since normal lamps and lights would hurt the nocturnal vampire. He leads Rain down the stairs that could clearly be seen by him but barely be seen by Rain. He leads him down the stairs until their feet hit the concrete floor. The room was freezing. Almost cold enough to clearly seen your breath in front of your face. He took Rain over to some chains in the back corner, passing over blood stains and mobian sized scratches on the floor. He makes him sit down heavily and locks a chain around his neck, the collar using the same locking mechanism as the door as it uses its blood to lock. He does the same to his wrists and takes off his current ones which would barely hold him anymore. He easily crushes the old bonds in his hands and throws them into the pile in the corner where there were at least 2o pairs of cuffs for both ankles and wrists piled in the darkness along with skulls and bones littered around*

Rain:*As he is sat down and notices the horrifying things around the room his breathing becomes shaky with fear, slowly he looks at the newly placed chains on his neck and wrists blinking at them a little, his ears drop a little more as he slowly looks up at the vampire standing in front of him, though he did not say a single word his eyes were begging Xbox, surprisingly it wasn't begging not to eat him... His eyes were begging the vampire not to leave him alone in there...*

Xbox:*looks at him for a moment, his eyes ever so slightly softening. But it was barely noticeable*I'll be back at midnight.*he breathes calmly as mist softly puffs from his mouth, showing just how cold it was. He runs his claws through Rain's hair again like he did when he first touched him. Almost as a sign that said, I own you. I will protect you till your time comes. And with that he inwardly forces himself to leave and go back up the cold, metal stairs*

Rain:*as he feels his hand leave he almost reaches out to grab his arm, to beg him more to stay, to take him back up there with him, but he doesn't... He knows that this was where he stayed... Where he was going to die... The thought nearly made him cry.. When the light flicked off and he was surrounded by darkness he freaked out, panic took over him as a few ice cold tears escaped his eyes, he was about to cry out in fear but the lights flickered back on and the darkness vanished as did his panic as he blinked and looked up at them a little, starting to slightly shiver when the sudden realization.. It was cold...*
Midnight...
Rain:*It was felt like hours since he was brought down into the cold basement of the vampire's mansion, he couldn't tell how long it had felt all he new was he was hungry and cold. He had gone from his sitting position to now lying on his side, curled up as close as the chains would let him to his body, he could not sleep no matter how much he tried and all his shivering was starting to annoy him, he could not even feel anything, which he thought was good, so if the vampire did bite him then he would not be able to feel the pain that would follow, he was die feeling no pain and that relived him a little, though every time he would breath in the cold air cut into his lungs like a razor blade*

*he hears the light creak of the basement door suddenly roll open, the light clicking of vampire claws tapping against the metal stairs as Xbox makes his way down*
Xbox:*his eyes was a misty black as the red lights illuminated him from behind, his face seeming almost invisible from his eyes being nonexistent. He makes his way across the basement as he parts his mouth in a quiet hiss, saliva dripping from his ivory fangs, looking starved. But as he approaches the shivering form his expression turns to slight sympathy, his mouth slightly closing as he watches him for a moment, his fangs slowly going back to their normal size as his eyes turn back to normal. He very slightly tilts his head as he kneels down and puts the side of his finger under Rain's chin, lifting his head to look at him, seeing his eyes were misty and pale he looks even more worried then he thought he was capable of. He practically tears off his coat and wraps it around the ice cold form, unlocking the bonds as he replaces them with a special collar. With that, he ever so gently lifts him up into his arms and carries him out of the death trap of a room into the slightly warmer house upstairs*

Rain:*shivering violently in his arms, his eyes slightly opens as he drifts in and out of conciseness, not quite grasping what is happening at the moment, oblivious to a lot of things, all he thought was there was something warm holding him. With that thought in his head he quickly but weakly nuzzled into the vampire's chest fur, trying to get the warmth he had, breathing quickly but shakily against him*

Xbox:*stares at him for a while they he reaches the top of the stairs. For a while he could picture his little brother curled up and shivering in his arms. Flashbacks of holding his little brother close to his chest all battered, bruised and bleeding came flooding back. He couldnt hurt something as precious as this. He felt the mortal nuzzle into his chest which made his dull symbol oddly glow abit more. He raised a brow at that but dodnt think twice about it as he made his way upstairs to the closet of his room. It was a large walk in closet. He laid Rain on the carpet as he laid down some of his older capes on the floor of his closet like a small nest, laying Rain down inside once he was done, letting him keep the purple cape he had wrapped around him*You'd better be worth all this trouble.*runs his claws through the fur on his head gently before closing the doors of the closet abit, going to his own bed as he lays down, wrapping his wings around him like a cacoon, the blanket being pulled over him too*
(Oh and in this RP vampires sleep at night and go out at day since the day is always covered in clouds. The sun is nonexistent~)

Rain:*as he slowly began to warm up from his new bed, the feeling slowly returned to his body, and the feeling of sleep quickly took over him as he pulled the cape over his head, as if he was in a little cacoon of his own, slowly drifting off to sleep*

*as the morning came around he was quite warm with all the silk capes wrapped around him like several blankets. The 'Second Moon' barely shines through the thick clouds as it comes over the hills, letting a tiny amount of harmless light into the room*

Rain:*slowly he opened his eyes, stretching out a little as he yawns silently, slowly sitting up and rubbing the sleep away from his eyes. He suddenly realised he wasn't in the cold basement anymore with that he also noticed that the shackles over his hands were gone as well, with a collar still around his neck. He blinked a few more times before looking through a small crack of the cupboard doors to see where exactly he was*

*he could make out a very royal looking bedroom. But eveything was covered with dust and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. He then noticed the sleeping vampire on the bed, wrapped from his shoulders down in his wings with his quilt pulled over him*

Rain:*blinks as he spots the vampire asleep, funny.. He'd always thought they slept inside down, he then thinks of how he got all the way here, feeling his body he felt no bite marks on him.. He thought of escaping but felt the collar around his neck, thinking that is was something more then just a pet collar. He sighs softly and sits back down in the little best of clothes that was made from him... Did he make this for him to keep him warm...? He suddenly sneezed a little from the amount of dust that was in the cupboard*

Rain:*his ears perk up as he looks to the doors of the closet, with hesitation he very slowly pushing the door open and slightly pokes his head out, staying a little low to the ground as he possibly can in submission*

Rain:*watches him cautiously, expecting this to be some kind of sick trick to get his hopes up then when his guard was down would suck every last blood out of his body. He tilts his head slightly to what he had just said to him... Did he really take pity on him..? If so.. Why? How?? Every time he thought about it, it just made him more confused*

He looks at Rain for a moment, catching a glimpse of concern in his Blood Slaves face as he huffs and walks past, not wanting to seem weak in front of him*Come.

Rain:*blinks as he slowly follows the vampire out of the room, watching him as he walked, he was curious toΒ how so many of the other vampires at the oction were looking like they were fed so well but the creature walking in front of him was much more slender then they were..*

He had originally bought him for a simple meal. He had nothing else to spend his money on since he couldn't exactly buy happiness with all the things he already had. He seemed perplexed by the male. Why did he feel the need to protect him rather then maim him?*

Rain:*can feel himself being watches but he tries to ignore it just for now while he started to cook the steak on the stove, the smell of the cooking steak was enough to almost make him forget where he was. The smell of the steak took him back to his home with his three younger brothers, his mother cooking dinner for them, when he finally snapped out of his hallucination, he felt a few tears roll down his face slowly, staring at the cooking steak*Β
