Description
For some reason I just wanted to chart down how Fi has changed in appearance over time in my headcanon, so I did that. I used the watercolor brushes for her coloring and shading, and I think it came out very pretty!I don't know why people hate Fi to be honest. Like; she's just doing her job. She's programmed to not have emotions so that it wouldn't interfere with Link's mission. I'd rather have her be emotionless than to be losing her shit every 5 seconds like Ghirahim did. Besides, I found her habit of being Captain Obvious and spitting out random calculations to be funny ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
She actually helped me in the game, too (since I tend to miss the obvious a lot). Midna didn't help shit in TP, but Fi was actually fucking helpful.
I'm having that moment where a word doesn't even look a word anymore. Is helpful even a word? lol.
*********
Skyward Era (Beginning)
- No personality at all; very monotone voice and very stoic
- Her personality begins to return immediately after the Skyview temple
- Very metal-like appearance, doesn't look like hylians at all except for general anatomy
- Begins to look less metallic and fancy soon after the Earth Temple
- Very focused and is never distracted
- Becomes extremely distracted and can't stay focused for more than a minute after the Skyview Temple
- Nervous system and other bodily functions return like the need for food, air, and sleep.
- First ever menstrual cycle hits her like a brick to the face the day after Zelda escaped into the past. She couldn't move for hours and literally thought she was dying.
Skyward Era (End)
- Actual eyes show, displaying her eyes a blue color. The eye whites are still the same color as her skin.
- Her hair looks a little less metallic and slightly darker than her skin
- Ditched the cloak; she couldn't take the heat in Eldin after her nervous system kicked in again so she stopped wearing her cloak for the rest of the journey. (I feel bad for her when the bokoblins took her and put her blade inside the volcano summit. Poor girl was suffering)
- All of her emotions returned; she proves to be very whiny over stupid things, easily excited, and easily amused. She has trouble understanding many of her emotions, however.
- Has quite a stubborn streak and is an extrovert
War of the Ages
- Has actual eye whites and her eyes have darkened in color
- Hair is no longer metallic but actual hair, and has also darkened in color
- No longer wears tights and heels, but skinny pants and flats
- Has a much better understanding of her emotions
- Easily irritated by Link and Zelda getting distracted by each other too often (jealousy, mostly)
- Became friends with Midna almost immediately
- Started to become interested in fashion
Modern Day
- Has become rebellious and extremely stubborn
- Eyes are a bright blue
- Extremely clingy to Ghirahim
- Has become a fashion designer and owns the most popular fashion boutique in Hyrule. She and Rarity often collaborate on many outfits and hang out with each other all the time.
- Decided to grow her hair out after the War of the Ages. Her hair is currently down to her waist.
- Dreams of having a child of her own one day
I might do one with Ghirahim too, idk
EDIT: I just realized it's International Women's Day too, so I guess this is devoted to that too :v

I guess this does explain why you draw Fi the way you do. ^^ It was very edifying to read the little story you concocted.
I like Fi too, but her constantly mentioning stuff like low health or battery got REALLY annoying.
