Description
Blank, fragmented memory, similar as to the broken laboratory walls; the dull white illumination casted among us. Daily, to and from, obeying their commands, dull, drab walls containing us deep within a cooperations barriers, needs.
Once; I was normal, a regular semi born into a world, yet there; understood i was breed, altered towards their needs, intentions.
Silently i stood, like usual, obeying, waiting for the next command. One arm raied in a fist, the other down as commanded. Humans, they are, long stopped questioning their commands, desires, their needs for such altered beings like me, along with the many failed. I have desires as well, yet those do not matter more than using me, abusing, taking from me. Giving me only a rag to cover my parts, later to please my senses when needed to breed.
Yet; to focus beyond them, let my mind wander off, into places with no walls, places where I will not only be free, yet to be content with what I have become.
There, they called my name, subject number; yet I am known by my friends, Daxton is what I preferβ¦

I like your concepts very much, I must say I haven't really seen much of the bio-mech idea before, so it was certainly interesting looking through your gallery. You create a good sense of scale and power in your work, the creatures look huge and imposing and the heavy musculature compliments the sharp angles of the mechanical chasis. The incorporation of these sharp lines into your work has also given you a knack for perspective because perspective is critically important to drawing vehicles. It adds a very useful strength to your ability to design characters and interesting poses.
You use a lot of good detail around your drawings, especially around the heads/grills of the characters and around the hands and claws and these are all done well. However, to address the elephant in the room, I think an important area of improvement for you will be try and become a little more confident with your lineart. Using lots of short strokes to construct an outline is fine and I totally encourage it, but I think before you go to colouring or shading, it's worth going around with an eraser, tidying things up a little and then making one last, dark stroke. It can be difficult and heck, I'm far from perfect myself, but I think over time, it will become worth it because it will allow you to get more of that lovely detail into your pictures.
I do my construction with a very light, sharp pencil like a 2H or pressing softly with an HB so it's easy to rub out. If you can find a pen-style eraser like this, I think these are great because you can sharpen up a line real easily with them without destroying all the other lines nearby: content.etilize.com/images/900β¦
I didn't have a lot of formal education in art, but I do remember one art teacher saying that the best way to draw a line from point A to point B is to look at point B while you're drawing it, rather than staring at the pencil. You clearly know how you want your drawing to look because the end results are great, so you can have confidence in yourself!
Anyhow, keep up the good work. You have some great concepts and you understand how to draw an object in 3-dimensions and how to shade it with colour. This to me, is most of the hard part done! Now I think you just need to work on sharpening up your final presentation and it will let you go further with your detail and your linework!

Thank you for these suggestions, Its very well appreciated.Β
I do understand the part of cleaning up my linework, I used to accomplish this with a Flowpen, when the sketching was completed, I would simply trace cautiously over the pencil strokes deemed necessary, or use a ruler if necessary, then wait for the ink to dry. After this, I would erase and there you have a well presented Illustration...
Yet after awhile, it became tiring, my artworks were not being submitted as often as I would like, so gradually I gave this process up. Simply only using it for architectural illustrations every now and then.Β
Hopefully I may make some time to go over my works, and complete the presentation, yet by now, simply I feel as if its no need at the moment*.
Simply, there is not many looking over them arts I create, so by that I am simply placing links for people to look at it, such as This Forum or Amino App...yet doesn't help much...
But thank you once again, Also here is my other profile if yould like to view other works of mine - Its not required that you have to say much about them, simply just another alternate of mine....
