Curse of villain, isn't it?I've heard that many people really don't like Master. I know he is the bad one, but in addition to the destruction of worlds he saved the Doctor's life in "The End of Time". Moreover, he can shoot lasers out of his hands!
He's my favourite character from whole series ^^

The master isn't that bad. He's honestly just as bad as the doctor. They both have flaws and perfections. The doctor had friends and a grand daughter on his side throughout his years. While the master was stuck alone with a constant drum in his head, a deceiving thought that he would be something special when in honestly, he was just bait. Thee doctor isn't the only one that found out he was the only Time-lord left. But in honesty, the doctor had more than the Master. I love the Doctor, but the Master deserves just as much credit. He should be loved equally. I don't see you hating on the doctor with his many flaws throughout regenerations. The master was stuck with one sad and lonely thought and a constant drumming sound . While the doctor was loved, even with his flaws, he was loved throughout generations. While the Master, that isn't that different. Is hated on. Even the doctor wanted the Master to live. He knew the Master could be better.

What a wonderful words. I agree with every one of them. The Master is just a poor, lost creature that needs to be loved and appreciated. Completely stuck in his madness, abandoned by everyone he ever loved, even by Lucy who shooted him. I think they should change something in the show and let us see the bright side of the Master. For example, he might have a female companion who could help him with the drumming problem". And then he could help the Doctor to save the universe.

Exactly, I've been only seeing people talk about how beautiful and grand the doctor is. But they don't ever talk about the Master, Weeping Angels, Silurians, Daleks, Cyberman, etc. I believe a lot of people who call themselves "Whovians" are more like "doctorian" Doctor Who does revolve around the doctor, but it's most definitely not ALL about him, it's about those he cares about, those who save him in return, it's about those nemesis who've been there since his first generation. It's just so much more than just the doctor, and people don't recognize that. The point of the doctor in my eyes is that he's suppose to be a symbol of pain and hope all put together. While others just view him as a ticket to an adventure. He honestly has so many human qualities and that's what helps the watchers bond with him. A lot of fangirls just fangirl over how cute, handsome, and hot the doctors are when really the doctor is much more than just looks. He's about character, he goes through all that pain and he turns it into a passion for everything. He doesn't hate anything, he doesn't even hate the Dalek. He actually tries to help them in multiple encounters. He's something to help people realize their strengths and importance. But also, he wouldn't be who he is without the humans. His companions. His enemies aren't that bad either. They are actually going off how their either programmed (Cyberman and Daleks have no emotion whatsoever) and by instincts (Weeping Angels are hunting by how they hunt) I honestly love all the nemesis's and companions as much as I love the doctor. Without the other characters, Doctor Who would honestly be boring.

Uh yes. People like that or fangirls like "the Doctor is too old for me now". They forget that this is a scfi show, not soap opera.
I love the Doctor, but I adore the Master more because I hope someday they will let him show his good qualities. Because everyone has some, right?

Exactly. I actually felt bad for the Master because if you were put in his shoes, it'd be a nightmare day and night with those drums, just to find out you were bait in the end. They have to bring the master back though, he's been there from the start in the show, why get rid of him now?

I think he will appear in the show soon, but not played by John Simm. It's a pity, I really like that actor ,__, I hope that we'll see him just for a moment.

Yeah hopefully... He might not show up till the end of a season though. I talk to a person that helps with DW but he gives no spoilers. I enjoy that ^.^ It ruins the moments in DW if you know what's coming.

Mistrz jest klasycznym przeciwnikiem Doktora, tak samo jak Dalekowie i Cybermeni. Czekam, kiedy Moffat wreszcie ściągnie z powrotem Mistrza, nawet jeśli nie będzie go już grał John Simm (bo przypuszczam, że Capaldiemu powinien sekundować ktoś inny - nieważne jak prywatnie lubię Simma).

!!! i love the master , he's a GREAT character. and his story is just SO good ! and as you already pointed out, in the end he even helped the doctor .... if the timelords weren't that cruel i think the master could have been SUCH a good guy, just as the doctor. but who knows?
