As I recall, he couldn't tolerate green contacts, so they just ignored that part. The whole business about Lily's eyes was shot to pieces in the films, since the actress who played Lily had brown eyes.
So it's not actually a picture of Harry, but of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry. A delicate distinction.
