Description
Here I did a master study after Caravaggio of his painting "David with the Head of Goliath" as a entrance in a monthly challenge held by Ross Draws (Ross Tran) on his discord channel. I really love the way the old masters were painting in that period of time using the Chiaroscuro way of painting. I played with the composition a bit and used a little twist to it to add a bit of my style so that it is not a full on copy. I learned more about the use of high contrast in painting and applying brushstrokes.
