"Shit...!" Vargas exclaimed under his breath, looking down at the mound of blubber sitting on his lap. It had been over a week since he was assigned by his commanding officer to partake in a Peace Summit for a nearby space colony. Wanting to prove that he was more than just "The Obese Turian", he jumped at the chance to represent the fleet. Unfortunately, he would soon come to regret that choice as the venue that hosted the peace talks were home to a species of alien that were renowned for their lavish feasts and decadent culinary treats. Especially when it came to meat and sweats. Upon realizing this, he made a promise to himself to not gorge himself during the week long summit.

Sadly, that wouldn't last as every chance the hosts got, they offered him a variety of various dishes to sate his hunger... even when he was clearly full. Of course, Vargas couldn't be rude and reject their offers, so he ate. And ate, and ate, and ate, and ate... Not only did they keep his belly full, they kept his belly stuffed. And naturally, the pounds piled on and on and on...

Needless to say, Vargas was pissed at himself for falling into a trap of his own making.

"Goddamn it, FUCK!" Vargas screamed, slamming his desk in frustration. Tears started forming in his eyes as he began to think of what his commanding officer would think. If they were a commander worth their salt, they'd fire him on the spot. God, he didn't even want to think about what his brethren would think of his tubby frame. "Fuck! ...shit! God, look at me... I look like a fucking blimp. The commander is gonna kill me for this... God... damn it..."

Uh-oh! Looks like Vargas has really packed on the pounds on his diplomatic mission! Then again, peace summits will do that to ya...
