Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Demon Paladin, Azaroth!

Born as the son of the Demon King, Azaroth was next in line to become the King of the Dark Realm. However, unlike most demons, Azaroth possesses a desire to understand others which has gifted him with a sense of morality. At some point in his life, he witnesses a band of angels who killed his fellow demons who were terrorizing innocent humans. In order to understand their motives, he spends several years witnessing the good and evil in humanity which furthers his development of his moral compass. This led to the logical conclusion: his desire to become a hero of justice.

However, as a denizen of darkness he cannot be a savior of light. Despite this, he sought the ancient sword of light Excalibur and fought to be accepted as it's wielder. Even though he proved himself, the light of Excalibur continually burns his palms and renders him in severe pain every time he uses it. To make matters worse, his ambitions have made him an enemy of both angels and demons.

Regardless, he holds no regrets for the path he chose and has sworn to uphold truth and justice like a true paladin...
