It was a typical day in the Sector 7 colony. Simulated sunshine with a warm gentle breeze, perfect for the last days of summer. It was in this colony that a certain Extra Soft Soldier and an acquaintance he met during his travels stopped for a bite to eat at a local fast food joint. And it was here that Alexis, the young woman who was recently drafted aboard the Arc-V, witnessed first hand why Kodai was called the Extra Soft Soldier.

"Sorry for the wait," Kodai called over, carrying an insane amount of food. Alexis nearly did a double take at the spread in his arms.

"Sweet Neptune," Alexis exclaimed. "Is that all for you?!"

"It's just the usual," Kodai started, shifting a bit as he took his seat, which felt a tad more snug than he would have liked. "Three triple cheeseburgers, a box of fifteen chicken tenders, large seasoned fries, an extra large blue raspberry soda, and two slices of chocolate pies." As Kodai took a bite into one of his burgers, Alexis felt her stomach churn as he listed off his grocery list of a meal. She honestly didn't think it was possible for someone to have such a voracious appetite, but here Kodai was as living proof.

"I hope you realize that's a lot of food," Alexis warned.

"Hey, I'm a growing boy, right?" Kodai defended.

"Is that so?" Alexis began, before eyeing the round dome of pudge sitting atop Kodai's middle. "Well if that's the case, then I would say that you are growing in the wrong direction." Kodai briefly stopped to look down at himself. It was true that he was rather chubby for a young man of 17-years-old, and yet despite his protests he never truly let it get him down. In fact, it was almost as if Kodai was rather proud of his girth. Kodai simply responded to Alexis' jab with a chuckle.

"Well hey," Kodai began jokingly. "They don't call me the Extra Soft Soldier for nothing." Kodai punctuated his remark with another hearty bite, to which Alexis shrugged in resignation.

"And this is the boy who is supposed to be 'The Beast of Hope & Possibility'?"
