"Any particular reason why you're doing this?" Kodai asked, annoyed that he was exposing himself in such a manner. He looked down at the young female who eyed the chubby Zephyrite up and down to get a good look at him.

"I just want to get a good look at you," Alexis replied, still running through her thoughts as she continued her examination. "You are The Beast of Hope and Possibility, right? So I expect there to be something different about you, apart from being a Zephyrite and all."

"You know I don't believe in this whole 'Beast of Hope and Possibility' bullshit, right?" Kodai expected a snarky answer of sorts, only to be met with silence. He had been told that apparently he was chosen by the AZ-001 Zephyrion as The Beast of Hope and Possibility, destined to bring a golden age to the universe. Not that he believed that, anyway. While Kodai did experience the power of Will of Zephyr for himself, he still wasn't convinced that he was someone special. Let alone someone who could "turn the tide of the war". As far as he was concerned, he was just a normal kid. His thoughts were interrupted by a poke to his rotund middle by the young woman below him, which immediately put him in an even bitter mood.

"Does being 'The Beast of Hope and Possibility' mean being at least 100 pounds heavier than one should?" Alexis asked, half-jokingly and half-serious. All that earned was a grouchy grunt from the plump Zephyrite, which Alexis merely shrugged off. "I guess that's a 'no'."

"So I'm a little bigger than most guys my age. Big deal," Kodai said dismissively, grabbing his shirt and proceeding to put it back on. "It's not like it isn't normal to put on a few pounds."

"No," Alexis began, crossing her arms and giving Kodai a flat expression. "But it is abnormal to be so big at 17-years-old. I mean, haven't you considered what this could do to your health? Let alone what this could do to your appearance?"

"To answer your first question, I'll have you know that I'm perfectly healthy. Talk to my doctor. He'll tell you straight up! As for the second, what do you care for my appearance? What are you, shallow?"

"I'm just concerned, that's all."

"Relax, okay?" Kodai reassured, though not convincingly. "If I am this 'Beast of Hope and Possibility', then maybe that just means that the normal laws of the universe may not apply to me!"

"I'm pretty sure that high cholesterol and heart disease are universal regardless of species," Alexis replied matter of factly.

"I was joking," Kodai retorted, once again annoyed. "I wasn't completely serious."

"Then shouldn't you be more concerned for your health?"

"I eat the odd salad and a few healthy snacks every now and again. Plus with my dad being a former soldier, I've got my own gym teacher here at home. What's the problem here?"

"Ugh, I give up," Alexis sighed, throwing her hands in the air in frustration. It was clear that she was talking to a brick wall. "How Goliath deals with you is something I'll never understand..."
