Vladimir looked down at his pale globe of a midsection, angry at himself for how much he had let himself go during his life. He lived a life of affluence and mindless self-indulgence and it was really starting to show. It wasn’t even like he was middle aged yet. Hell, he wasn’t even in his twenties yet. For him to be so big at such a young age, surely it had to be unhealthy. Yet he didn’t suffer any negative consequences for his weight, with the only consequence being short of breath after any strenuous activity. Not like he every engaged in any strenuous activity anyways; Vladimir lived a mostly sedentary life, lazing about in Hyrule Castle, training with his elder sister, learning the ways of the world, and of course getting fatter. It was getting to a point where he found himself unsure of whether or not the title of “prince” meant anything at all.

But he wasn’t just angry at himself; he was also angry at every one around him for encouraging his gluttonous lifestyle. His sister always made fun of him for his weight, his father always tried to make him embrace his heftier size, and the commoners always tried to earn his favor by giving him offerings of food. And he always found himself being fed into this cycle. Worst of all, he knew that on some level… he was somewhat enjoying it. He could feel a dark, twisted sense of pleasure underneath all the anger and angst and he knew that it was the end result of his gluttony. The only solace that he take from all of this was that he at least he wasn’t starting to get off on getting fatter. Though in the back of his head, he knew that he would one day go from tasting the forbidden fruit to scarfing the whole fruit batch if this kept up.

And he only felt this sneaking feeling because as he gave a hearty slap to his big marshmallow belly, he felt a tingle travel through his spine and could nearly feel the corners of his mouth start to crack upwards…
