A bit of fan art that I wanted to make after watching the finale of "Steven Universe Future" and listening to one of the more bombastic songs from "Frozen 2". To give context, which BTW SPOILERS, in SU:F Steven corrupts into a monster due to his trauma and refusal to talk about his lingering issues. In the end, his family and friends bring him back through the power of love, starting his road to recovery. After watching it, I got inspired by his monstrous form and thought "what if he could control his monster form ala Madoka Magica Rebellion?". This thought got a bit more context thanks to listening to the aforementioned "Show Yourself" from "Frozen 2" and I finally had an angle: what if after his period of recovery, Steven learned to tap into his monstrous form but was in full control? Essentially, forming a metaphor of him not only overcoming his trauma, but using it as strength. In other words, the symbol of his lowest point becomes the peak of his emotional maturity and power. And thus this picture was born.

However, I'm not too happy with it. For one, drawing Steven himself was like kryptonite to me since I'm not used to simple Western Animation designs. Also, it not as ambitious as I would have liked as I wanted to have rose petals surrounding Steven, not stars. That said, I'm just happy that I got the idea down on paper. Hope y'all get something out of it! Enjoy!
