So do y'all remember that rumor regarding the title for Zelda U? And how I wanted to create a character based on that rumor? Welp, here he is!

This is The Unbound King, an enigmatic creature who is said to have extraordinary powers. One legend says that he has the power to rival the gods themselves, while another says that he a creature created by the gods to bring judgment upon Hyrule. Turns out, they're both wrong. He was just a normal king who nearly sacrificed his sense of self to save what remained of his kingdom as it was falling down around him. He nearly lost himself to madness until his daughter sacrificed herself to become a limiter for his power. Ever since, he has been trapped under the Crystal Tower as punishment for his actions. That is, until a certain boy in a green hat and tunic came along and offered him the chance for atonement.

In terms of design, I wanted to try a design reminiscent of Iskandar from Fate/Zero with some additional bestial elements. However, I also wanted to give him a gentle giant vibe as that is what he is. I've yet to think of a name for him, so if any of y'all have ideas send them my way!
