"Are you kidding me, Kodai!" Goliath bellowed as he saw his son come out of his room. Not only was Kodai wearing a shirt far too small for him, but his pants were being held up by a piece of rope that was just barely visible thanks to his rotund gullet. And he was only in this situation thanks to his ludicrous appetite.

"Hey, it's not my fault that the stores in this colony have nothing that fits me!" Kodai shot back in a vain attempt at defending himself.

"They do not have anything in your size because you simply keep expanding!" Goliath scolded, visibly shaking in barely contained rage. "Do you know how much weight you've gained since the summer alone?!"

"It can't be that much, old man. You're exaggerating."

"So you don't know..." Goliath started, lowering his voice and grabbing a tablet that immediately displayed his son's health records. "I guess that means you're also not aware that all of your health records are forwarded directly to my terminal, then. Right?" Kodai gulped, sensing what was about to happen next.

"Dad... what are you getting at?" Kodai asked uneasily.

"I've set up a nutrition and exercise regimen for you starting tomorrow. If you consume anything that continues you're expanding mass, or if you don't do enough physical activity to burn off that bulk of yours, I'll be notified." Kodai's face turned pale upon hearing that. It was bad enough that his father acted like a soldier in front people in public, now he was going to go full military on his ass. A smug smile grew on Goliath's face as he saw that Kodai understood the gravity of the situation. "And don't think you can cheat your way out of it, too. I've notified every restaurant you go to and they're all aware of this arrangement."

"Dad, this is just cruel and unusual punishment!" Kodai exclaimed, earning no sympathy from the former soldier.

"You better enjoy whatever plans you have for pigging out tonight, my Extra Soft Soldier! Because it's gonna be the last night you'll do so for a while." Goliath soon walked off to his living quarters, leaving Kodai alone to stew in his admittedly self-induced punishment.

"Bucho Mio..." Kodai shrugged bitterly. "How did I end up with you as a father?"
