Hello! I'm here at the request of Winnie-chan.
Before I begin, I want to say that the advice I give you , it's only an opinion.. It's not the ultimate truthful.
I'm no expert in drawing, I'm just expressing my resentment by words.
I liked the work you have put in description.
"A place to remember"
On this picture the sepia effect is of too much. For the effect "old days", is well respected. But instead of setting an atmosphere of "the good old days" It's a sad side, as something lost and that we never more see again ...
It's the color of silver associated at sepia who gives this feeling. Silver is a cold color, which gives it many meaning. The strength, mysticism but also sadness, depression.
Mixed with an acid color is sepia creates discomfort.
In "A place to remember" you associated at white, white is soft and pure. Which breaks the cold side of steel. And installs an atmosphere of peace, like a dream soft and warm.
And black and white recall the past.
But I do not know .. Mixing the two is superficial. It's one or either the other.

I tend to have a more critical eye than most, having spent most of my time in AP art classes, but I can find almost no fault in this work. It's absoltuely beautiful--the perspective, the landscape, the value, even the monochrome color comes together to express so many central emotions, I could hardly express them all.
