My answer for the question #1 of the 1st test of the Chunin Exam"You and your teammates have been assigned to escort a VIP from Omoichidou to another village. You've been warned that the VIP is on a hit list, and the walk to the other village is a day's walk away. Draw or write about three steps you would use to keep the VIP safe. What would your team's formation looks like? What should you be wary of?"
Yoko was sitting in a large hall, surrounds by all the genins of her generation. She started playing with her pen, doing everything possible to focus on the subject they were just given. At the sight of the 1st question of the test, she closed her eyes and began to think about the situation.
It was almost the end of Fall, the weather was getting colder and colder. Their expedition was one of the latest of the year and it was known that many bandits was taking benefits of this period. The mission was to escort a kind of VIP away from Hearth Shrine before the arrival of the snow.
All the member of the team chose a specific formation :
- Kaminari was in front of the convoy, paying attention to any danger that could occur. Her powerful and and fast lightninig jutsu would be very effective if any enemy appear.
- Nadeshiko stayed in the background, following them quietly. She was also on her guard, ready to use her defensive skills (Earth nature and sticky sweets) in order to delay a possible attack.
- Yoko was on the side of the VIP, feeling the reassuring pressure of her katana on her hip. Thanks to a code that all the team decided, she could be aware of any danger that occur outside the palanquin.

Hehe... I understand that it feels a bit like school again but compared to a RPG that I play it's pretty harmless... To become a genin, you have to pass a theoretical and a practical test. The practical part is not too difficult, just rping... But the theory was all "List the most important events in the Bloodline Limit War and explain their impact on the villages' power..." etc xD
But the drawing is really well done... Have to put some work in my answers too although I doubt that they'll be that good ^-^

It was fun but still quite difficult... A friend failed it three or four times in a row ^^° It's easy to forget some details that were considered important but weren't clearly mentioned in the task.
And you'll see it soon... I'm just not sure which version to use... Pencil or my try at colouring it with water colours. Because I was in the mood to use water colours again. Which isn't a great idea on a relatively small format and thin paper xD

Thank you Kris The thing is that most of the time, I really use hundreds of layer in order to have a neat coloring and shadowing ... Here I just had a layer for the different background and one for the characters, and I totally went crazy on the marker brush
