First off, I really want to thank you dear for bying me this "How To Draw Dragons" book in the store |D~ It was what inspired me in the first place and after sketching on paper, I've finally decided to make a digital work out of it ;')

OHMYLAI it really was a great thing to try myself on! OTL And dmittedly for the very first seriously drawn dragon I do like how he turned out in the end. I am also quite happy with how slender I made Calir's dragon from look. I explicitly decided upon this slender design! Since knowing how bulky/big/dangerous most dragons look, there was no way I wouldn't try myself on something 'own' <3

This piece is quite the work of artistic talent! The amount of detail and precision with that detail is truly something to be admired here, and the anatomy is very well done, most notably around the ears. A personal note: I like the more hand-looking feet that you gave it, it kind of reminds me of a monkey's foot. The bright colors on the creature really catch the eyes, especially with the dimmer purple background which is balanced well in this piece. The background is almost as mesmerizing as the forefront of the piece, with the clouds and bubbles floating, really gives of a space-like feel, which is what I imagine is what you were going for. Also, nice choice having the tail encircle the creature, gives the ol' eyes something to follow, starting at the tail and ending with the head, going all across the body in-between. And from such a simple composition! In short, I LIKE IT!

This piece is a really in depth piece, from the light colours of the guardian to the dark black purple back ground. I really like the way the character is angled ir really does look like the character is flying. The long tail is also a very nice feature with nice flow. I think the big thing about this piece is where the character is angled and how the character shows it's protection and boundary. I also love the long ears i think that is also pretty unique to have, the tail also very unique, but the most impressive of all is the colours you have used to bring out the guardian. Very impressive work.

Erste Reaktion: Woaaaaah! Ich liebe die Ohren! Und den Schweif mit den schönen Federn! 
Nach dem ersten Anfall: Er sieht wirklich sehr elegant aus. Besonders seine Hände sehen so hübsch aus. Ich meine, die ganze Haltung ist ja eher anmutig, als... wuchtig bzw. brutal wie es bei den stereotypischen Drachen meistens der Fall ist. Mir gefällt das so viel besser, ich mag schlanke Tiere/Körper
Ist das wirklich dein erster Drache? Respekt. Nur die Flügel fehlen mir *nichts-ohne-Flügel-Moral* xD
Das ganze Bild ist so mega Detailliert. Besonders der Kopf sieht toll aus mit den vielen kleinen Flaumfedern.Ich find es schön, wie du es gemacht hast, dass die kleinen Federn am Körper so scuppenähnlich aussehen. Dadurch wirkt das ganze noch 'drachiger' trotz des schmalen Körpers ^^

Hahaha, yeah XD Since he is so slender and has such a mighty feminine touch, one could easily mistaken him with a female dragon, but yes XD SUPPOSED to be a male, no wonder people mistaken him though XD <3
