Description
After long long stalling, Yoli-chan finished this..It's not really something I planned, I just wanted an excuse to use the 'coloured lineart' on something
And I always pictured this girl with long ponytails and yellow ribbons after reading 'The Crysalids'...The whole bg (except the tree) was done with a gradient. :3 And yes I realize there's something weird about that bench.....
..I could use some more practise with nature, yes.. ._.

I really love the shading on this one ^_^ I think the bench would fit together with the background well if it had a little more texture on it, but other than that it's fine :3

Ahhh yes the Crysalids...your mentioning of it brings back memories of my year 9 english class - we always misbehaved ^_^ and it was funny how the teacher would always say Crysssssalids because of his lisp

Wow...the picture is so beautiful. It's not loud or tooo harsh for the viewer to enjoy. It's plain calm and sweet. The atmosphere is intriguging as she's hugging the little thing. I like th egrass effects in the back. Looks awfully neat and soft. And the cherry blossoms in the back is wow. Beautiful feeling!

if you meant the background when you said "nature", I think it's pretty awesome ^^ like the pink tree X3; And I love the girl's expression... so peaceful and stuff. 
Ahh, the Crysalids was a nice book... too bad it wasn't a completely happy ending (the two people left behind =/) the little girl was a tad irritating at times though XP

Impressive work with the hair and environment. Yes, the bench is at an odd angle, but it still looks well drawn. It's all good.

Oh, how pretty! It's such a simple, cute idea and you pull it off SO WELL. I love the hair, (so original...everyone's saying that!) and wow, I got a laugh when you said 'the whole background it a gradient' because really, I wouldn't have seen the gradient-aspect unless you said that.
Something wrong with the bench? To me, the problem is that while there's all kinds of shading, light and darks in the girl's hair, and the background has grass and whatnot to add to the textured effect, the bench simply is too plain - there's not enough shading to clearly indicate the 3-d qualities of it, plus there's not enough shadow around the girl to show that she's sitting on it. (I mean, yes, I can see the shadow, but if it was a bit larger and darker it's be more obvious that the girl was sitting there.)
Anyway, just my musings on it. A lovely idea. Ah Yoli, you are _so good_. <3<3
