HELLO since forever. I finally soft resetted myself a shiny Mewtwo in Soul Silver! 
Mewtwo, in a master ball, with a mild nature (not bad!) will most definitely need a name starting with M, don't you think?

Did you eventually get a shiny Mewtwo, yourself? Looks like I said in my younger years that I wouldn't have the patience for soft resetting, heh. Guess I proved myself wrong. Or age brought with itself patience.
I will never ever grow out of Pokemon.

Well, i haven't YET. I still gotta beat the Elite Four on Fire Red. I got it all planned out.
Charizard: My Starter and tank
Sableye: Can't be effected by Psychic or Swift
Clefable: Use Encore to get it to spam Recover
Gengar: Spite Recover until it's all used up
Raichu: Paralysis
Scyther: False Swipe. Then start throwing Pokeballs and pray. Most other Shiny Legends don't matter to me, since Mewtwo is the only one i use besides Zekrom and Victini. Mewtwo's my favorite Legend though, so this will be worth it.

Oh man, you're not gonna freakin believe this. I was testing out my strategy on Leaf Green. I Paralyzed him, but he KO'd all my strong ones. I sent out Sableye, still level 15, mind you. He recovers back to full health. I just decide to goof around and throw Pokeballs. He was caught.... at. FULL. HEALTH. What sorcery is this?! Too bad it wasn't shiny.

Yeah, it's possible. XD It's a small % to catch it at full health, but the chance is there nevertheless.

Probably not so be prepared for everything. :'> Keep a master ball aside, just in case. Calculate all the turns as well so it won't suddenly kill itself with struggle.

I think i've perfected my capture strategy now. Raichu to Paralyze, give Alakazam Leftovers, and have it use Trick. Give Mewtwo Leftovers. Use Charm to decrease it's attack power to minimum. When he's almost out of moves, throw out level 100 Shuckle holding leftovers and max out its defense. If this works, Mewtwo will only do minimum damage with Struggle, and will only get minimum with Recoil, but that will be healed with Leftovers. I'm not even going to try to damage it, since I have caught it with full health with a Pokeball, so i'm just going to throw 999 Pokeballs at it. Infinite Battle. Besides only being able to have 999 Pokeballs, are there any flaws with this strategy?

Not sure if you're still interested but I finally caught the Shiny on Fire Red a few days ago. The battle lasted so long that he did start struggling, so I had no choice but to Master Ball it. Its cool, but i'm not entirely satisfied. I'm going to attempt it again on Leaf Green. This time, I shall catch it in a Pokeball!

It's a Sassy Nature. I ported it to Heart Gold after naming it COSMOS, to play off my non shiny Mewtwo, CHAOS, based after Dissidia Final Fantasy.

I have a friend, who has a friend that has the Japanese Pokebank, so COSMOS is now in Y! I think it's funny to play with Mewtwo in pokemon-amie, since Mewtwo shows almost no emotions. Don't try to hide it Mewtwo. You like belly rubs. I see those hearts.
