We are finally playing a Changeling the Lost pnp campaign soon!!! (It's not like I learned about the system and didn't have anyone to play it with for years and ended up making a comic to scratch the ich or anything...)

So this is my character! Her name is Klara Tinkerbell (Klara Klokkeblomst). Yes it's super cliché but the Tinkerbell's flower meaning was perfect for the character We are playing in a homebrew setting, in the City of Fairy Tales, Odense, the birth place of HC Andersen. I'll link it when it's finished, if anyone else is interested in a Danish setting for their Changeling campaign

Klara was studying to become a caretaker of children with special needs, when she met this PERFECT widowed man with two children. He wanted to hire her as a babysitter for them, and it quickly developed into a romance. It turned out though that this perfect guy was a True Fae, more precisely The Solstice King also known as The Horned God.
He brings her into Arcadia to make a faerie baby (to sum up her Keeper is basically Christian Grey on steroids). However when the child is born The Solstice King gets a nasty surprice: the child already has a True Name, as Klara already named him before he was born. This makes the child useless for him and he gets furious. Klara sees an oppotunity and takes it, striking a bargain with her Keeper. She will tell him the child's name, in exchange for her own freedom. The Horned agrees (just as a big "fuck-you" to the faerie, she has named the child Karl, meaning "free man").

Out of Arcadia she is struck with shame over what she has done, and fear for her Keeper not keeping his promise. She seeks out her family, but discovers no one has missed her. In her absence a fetch has taken over her life, running it far better than she ever could, being everything she wished she could have been. Already distraught, this almost breaks her. The Changeling Court of Day finds her and helps her somewhat to cope with her newfound loss and abilities she has gained in Arcadia, taking care of The Horned's "Garden of Children".

Still ravaged by guilt, feeling she should in some way pay for what she has done, she pledges herself to the Guard of Titania. They have trapped the Faerie Queen Titania, her consort Oberon and their seven faerie children in a huge doll house on the castle Egeskov. They serve this faerie queen to make her content, not wanting to leave, and thus keeping her in check.
Klara serves for a year and a day, getting granted a wish for her service. Klara wishes for a new life which is granted to her. She opens a flower shop close to the center of Odense, and starts reading up on all she can get her hands on regarding protection against faeries, and the use of plants and flowers, assisting the Day Queen in taking care of new Changelings.
