Gamzee make up test.We’re going to a gathering next weekend and I have yet to even attempt Gamzee’s make up. Decided to tonight but I was really lazy. I only used the creme colors and powder sealer. No eye shadows. On top of that I only used my fingers :”D So please be kind on me. I have a better idea now of how I will do it next time (with brushes too ahaha). The grey is actually darker, but with this lighting it kind of blends with the white.
As for the hat, I haven’t gotten my Gamzee wig for just him. This is my Gamzee wig for Militarystuck. And the hat isn’t even done yet. And excuse my wife beater. Oh and the wig is unstyled.
I look like 4 chords lol

You have the perfect features for these Homestuck characters. You also portray them in an immaculate manner. Question again though; How the hell do you manage to get the yellow colour around your irises?

That too. Normal contact lenses can already cause a lot of trouble when placing them over the iris. Especially when there's something underneath the lens which hurts like a bitch. I don't think I even want to know how painful that could be when wearing Sclera's.

I've been wanting to do a Militarystuck!Gamzee for so long now! (even though I can never compare to how good you are. WHY ARE YOU SO PERFECT) but I cannot find those hats or a suitable wig anywhere!!!

Ah well I dunno where the hat is from really. The type of hat is called a Kingform cap. Taki (girlfriend) searched over on ebay and was able to find these under a different name. They came in grey so we had to change them to black. As for the wig.... uh I think it was just some long black wig. One that could be from any store. It isn't styled. It just is flippy and with the hat on it sticks out. Had to cut it only a little bit. Since this was a WIP photo, this was before I did anything to the wig. So I would say go to any of your favorite ebay sellers and get a medium length black flippy wig.

They're always usually way too thick and so I can't make them look like anything other than a wig. blegh. But I shall try!

No problem! I seriously spent a long time searching and why not help people out with a little knowledge, like what a type of hat is called?
Hm well even if you were to get a thick or thin wig, for this particular cosplay you'll be wearing a hat! So if you don't mind, and it is thick, cut out wefts to make it thinner, or just shove some of it up in the hat.

Got it online on ebay! Well I was looking all over for it but Taki was able to fine it. But, sadly they only had them in grey. To make this black we used a fabric marker.

I know the actual term for the black ones that are used in the military are kingform cap. Maybe try "navy kingform hat" somewhere on the internet?
