This is a really good tutorial. Nice and simple, easy to understand. I've never tried rug hooking, but I do crochet all the time, I love it!

Me too! I love crochet, I tried to make a cry plushie, but I failed horribly. That's why I made a rug instead

This is a really helpful tutorial! I used to do some rug hooking when I was younger, but quit since I didn't have a lot of rug hooking materials at my house (my mom only bought them as a one-time thing). That's okay though, because I recently took up crocheting and am having a lot more fun with that!
But anyway, this tutorial is very clear and very helpful. I'm sure those who are having difficulty with rug hooking will be able to understand it better after reading this C:

I only recently got into it, so what I'm currently working on won't be that good xD I'm actually more into crocheting with plastic yarn than regular yarn, because I'm a huge advocate for helping the environment and using plastic grocery bags as yarn really helps, since it's being put to good use instead of just being thrown away.
I'm currently working on a bag, I only have the bottom done and it looks a little funky but that's okay, it's just practice! C: I'll definitely post some pics once I get better at crocheting!
