Hi! Here is an assignment from one of my color classes.
We had to create a character and/or put one of our characters in a Kabuki theater poster style but modern! So we were not allowed to use shadows and the patterns had to be flat. Only gradients were allowed.

It was fun, Umeko (my OC) fit perfectly with the subject since she is a singer in the lore~

So I used a lot of photo references of patterns, different poses and expressions. The pose is inspired by a pose of Siouxsie And The Banshee ~

Meh, I have to do it again on paper now...
