I think my brain died. And so did my eyes. Man, my eyes hurt. orzAnyway, this is my entry for Asmin's contest on Ernya. I don't even know what to say anymore save for that I always end up making surrealistic-looking backgrounds
Did all the coloring in SAI and did not make use of separate layers for Melody, Asmin's OC, so it was a bit of a challenge but it was fun.
I guess that's that. I should rest my eyes now. orz

I LOVE that background ;;; holy hnnng lovelovelove the colors and the line but the coloring not matching it and it's perfect @___@ the colors are so rich every time I look I spot more colors I swear, and the texture is gorgeous alwekjrlk you're so great with them O_O

The colors not matching the lines is laziness (coupled with some experimentation). orz
And I think I used a whole rainbow for this, now that you mention it
As for textures... I only use one X'D
Ive been using it ever since I got it because it's the only texture that I've really liked. orz

And mouths are fun to draw. The only things that makes things painful are hands and feet and well... taking anatomy into consideration too but even those aren't so bad.

Yeah. You just have to force yourself to do something until you start liking it, I guess. I remember hating my hair coloring before and coloring in general X'D

That percentage is for all the frustrating times I have. x'D Sometimes I'll get stuck on a mouth and erase it so many times. But I think it usually ends up being that the head proportions are wrong to begin with.

Mmm. Yeah. Oh hell. I got really frustrated drawing eyes fairly recently actually and eyes are usually my strong point. orz

Oh yes |D As you may have noticed, my ratio of drawing males to females has greatly shifted toward a high increase in males. ahahaha

Haha. That's not necessarily true though. I mean I like drawing males with long hair but the reality is that males with long hair in real life rarely look good to me
