Description
This stamp is part of my "Twelve days of Stamps."What a great way to start off the event by causing controversy. Anyways, this stamp is saying that Evolution doesn't have a say on the origin of life bit rather, once life begins, how does it begin to branch out.
Again, evolution doesn't have a say on how life begins. There's a separate a theory on the origin of life called Abiogenesis.
There are a numerous amount of sources about both topics. I find it really sad that people get mixed up with Evolution and Abiogenesis.
This stamp you are allowed to use.

It's because they're lumped together in biology textbooks.
(and no, I don't believe that creationism belongs in science class)

niether does evolution. its not a law, its a theory, the problem I have is that its taught like its true, people need choice.

Seriously, you have no idea how many times I've seen creationist fundies talk about evolution like it's a synonym for abiogenesis. I hate it so much!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOu THANK YOu FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST THANK YOU
THANK GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH
evolution has nothign to do with the origins of life, its a concept used to detail how life changes over time
it can be applied to any number of theories on how the world works
if we suddenly popped up 6 thousand years agoa via the hand of god, that doesnt change the fact that black jaguars are becoming more numerous
or any other observable evolution
or controlled evolution (im looking at you domestic canine)

My mother always goes on about how abiogenesis has never been proven so Evolution is still just a theory. Wut.

True. The thing is evolution has become this ambiguous evil sciency consept for some people.
It's also because they think evolution is somehow explanation for the same things as creationism, which can explain what ever you want;
"Where did we humans come from?"
"God did it"
"How did life begin?"
"God did it"
"Where did the universe come from?"
"God did it"
"Who drank my coffee?"
"God did it"

The reason this occurred was because people used evolution in the general sense too much, and creationists thought they meant in the scientific sense.

Finally some one knows. It's not the origin of life, the universe, or anything other than the variation of species AFTER life started.

I think people mix up the three b/c they think collectively of them as one huge "randomness-without-God" theory.
