My Wii is American and it is soft modded (I think the mods are all on the SD card or were transferred from the SD card to the Wii, I'm not sure I had my friend do it for me).

I just downloaded the game off the internet and burned it to a CD. I can just put the CD into my Wii and use the Backup loader to play the game. It's easier than I'm making it sound.
