Here is the TUTORIAL VIDEO-> [link]The sword it self is 5"3, I also wanted to point out that the inside of the eye's are darker then the purple around it, used 4 different shades of red and green for the crystals! For more info please comment below or watch the video!

people sell custom swords all the time that look just like the real thing in anime and they never have to worry about stuff like that either.

I made mine out of papier-mache(with a sturdy Card-board skeleton) and plaster(to ensure its strength and prevent breaking). I made it immediately after the Series was Over so very few references existed 
I am thinking of remaking it with better quality materials.

well thats always a problem -though i think it might be what you used to cut them-i don't hold to that don't blame your tool thing because if you don't have the right tool its hard to get it right even if you have skill -personally prefer the right tool for the right job. at any rate might want to invest in some tools.

i wanted to make them out of resin... and i used someone els's tools, once i'm to age i'll be investing into good and better tools..
