I saw Creed last night, and let me say this... If you're a fan of Rocky or ANY of the movies, go see this movie NOW. It is phenomenal!They nailed everything great about the modern movies, but modernized it enough to where there's a reasonable progression in time. Rocky is now a trainer, Adonis needs to step up and awesomeness ensues! I haven't felt like rooting for an underdog this much since the original Rocky movie!
I loved it so much that I had to make some art for it! Holy crap.

Amazing fan art of Adonis!You really got the spirit of his character. And the movie was amazing, especially the relationship between Adonis and Rocky was well done, Adonis's inspiring efforts to becoming his own legacy and and it made me so happy.
I always wanted some sort of redemption/side plot for Apollo after the forth one.

Thanks! And yeah, that movie was excellent and seeing Apollo proving to everyone that he's a great boxer by his own right was fantastic. Plus the fights were some of the best choreographed fights I've ever seen in the Rocky series.
I'm glad to see that they are interested in making a sequel, but I do hope they make time for Coogler to join it since he's also directing the upcoming Black Panther movie.

Yeah, I recently heard that it's not yet confirmed for Coogler to return but he said he has some interesting ideas for the sequel. Some are saying the chances are low for him returning but I'm still hoping! Plus, I think it would be interesting if Carl Weathers reprises his role as Apollo in the sequel. I'd like to see how they work that in as flashbacks. But for other news, I'm excited for the new Black Panther movie, I always loved his comics

I didn't even know this was an actual movie at all until I saw an article about it the other day, but it was advertised as one of those articles that might interest you if you read the original article long enough to scroll to the very bottom of the page and notice a few thumbnails for other articles. Either they didn't promote this movie heavily or I'm just living under a cinema roll.
Anyway, pretty cool! I only watched most parts of the first movie, maybe a few tiny parts of Rocky IV, but not much else. I did see a few promo red carpet shots for this movie though, so I will definitely say you nailed down Adonis' likeness quite well. I also heard this movie is getting excellent reviews according to a few I read about it after subsequently learning about the film's existence. Great detail...and boy, you are one fast reactionary artist.

And yes! The movie is amazing! It's a movie that I can recommend to people who are and are not fans of the Rocky series. It's feels everyone in on everything the need to know, but continues to stand on it's own two feet, by making Adonis all about being a great fighter in his own right. I've actually seen to two times already! It's definitely a great time to be had.

I think that it'd be fantastic to see more active updates from you whenever you can, as it'd be pretty great to see how fast you improve from time to time. Alone in just two or three years time you've gotten better and more well-adjusted to doing digital art which I think is great. Would also enjoy seeing traditional art from you again sometime too as a throwback of sorts, like watercolor. But yeah, I definitely support your goal dude!
My dad might enjoy seeing it perhaps, since he's enjoyed movies like Million Dollar Baby and Cinderella Man.

Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed. Apollo was the man Rocky thought in the old Rocky movies, who he grew to respect and become friends with, but was killed in the fourth movie.
