Yeah, can't wait to play the game. The first one just oozed with so much style and the second one seems to double that. Really anxious to play the Splatfest this Saturday. Nice to have another sneak peek of the game.

Hm, I still have yet to watch the Splatoon 2 Direct myself. So it would appear to me these two are the new Callie and Marie? I've been spotting them randomly in my newsfeeds lately, and they seem to take on the role that the Squid Sisters had in the first game in announcing the map rotations and being the new popular pop duo. They certainly look like an interesting pair, especially since it seems Marina is an Octoling. Very cool stylization going on, especially since it's not every day we see characters from this series illustrated by you. The comic book aesthetic is strong in this one too, so that adds a nice layered touch. Always love the way you bring about personality and attitude in your subjects too!

It's pretty good. talks about a lot the game has to offer, but leaves enough out to keep players curious. Marina and Pearl are... sort of the New Callie and Marie. Their in charge of Splatfest this time, while Callie and Marie are in the single-player with a much more personal story. A lot is going on with this game and I definitely can't wait to see all it has to offer. Plus, there's a Splatfest this Saturday before the game even comes out. Cake vs. Ice Cream.

There definitely seems to be more of a story-oriented element to the game compared to the first one, with added layered depth to the characters. I like that it seems to be shaping up to be quite a game itself and improvement over the first one. And as far as that Splatfest theme goes, well...how about...ice cream cake?
