Description blue skies will be soon

your heart
breathing in the night

cutting teeth again on want
and all the world a backdrop
light without constraints

your presence is requested
a new growth charted course

breathe.

meld into laughter
weightless
unstained

the boughs are all in bloom. look

summer waits for you
smiling wide
from the mountainside

discard the trappings of old
in broken lamplight
until they're gone

I will tell you horizon’s lullabies and
laughing streams instead

a different ending
blossoms
like mercy
