It's a fangame idea I have in mind that might never see daylight

These are the designs for the youkai partners for the Heroes of Gensokyo

The idea I had for this fangame is, it has the 4 classic difficulty, 1 extra, 1 phantasm and an unlockable difficulty for the main story:

Easy: Water Spray
Normal: Drizzle
Hard: Hurricane
Lunatic: Super Typhoon

Extra: Radioactive Sunshine
Phantasm: Kitsune's Wedding

(More difficult than Lunatic mode!) ???: End of World

Character prompts:

Reimu, visited by a concerned youkai, told her the situation on hand:
Ran told about the storm's magical properties and went to the Shining Castle, only to find out it wasn't the case, so she had to seek help to the Shrine Maiden solving this storm. Reimu had asked where the had Gap youkai went, only to find out she was dealing with another problem somewhere outside of Gensokyo.

Satori told that the streets of the Former Hell were already flooding, destroying countless houses and buildings of the onis, they have went to Chireiden to take refuge from the rising waters.

Marisa was visited by a concerned youkai/a pair of fairies,:
Alice who was anxious about the magical rain and that it could potentially make the forest's magic even more wild and uncontrolled.

Star Sapphire and Sunny Milk, explaining their problems about a strange weather phenomena around the forest's vicinity, patches of ice and snow scattered in the drenched grass. Telling it was Cirno's fault, they pleaded Marisa if they can come with them to claim victory from her (not) doings.

Sanae was told by her Goddess/a news reporter,:
Kanako, whom very stricken with worry about the magical rain, that it would make her own rain obsolete, and thus, will unable to gather faith from their followers, accompanies Sanae to defeat the perpetrator of this incident.

Aya, genuinely more interested who's the culprit behind the storming clouds rather than the safety of all Gensokyo, asks the Human-Goddess if she can tag along to get a scoop of the incident.

Tenshi, who went on her own to the surface, was stopped by a youkai:
Iku, who scolded her again for leaving heaven without her father's permission again and for making the weather all screwed up again, this made Tenshi snap at her that she wasn't doing this all this time. and she went to the surface to beat up whoever forcefully controlling the weather, Iku admired Tenshi's valiance, only to realize Tenshi was doing this so she doesn't get blamed for the weather phenomena, much to the oarfish's dismay.

Cirno, who told her that the weather was out of control, the forest was snowing and the rest of the area was drizzled in water non-stop, the fairy told the lake is in the weird state of freezing and melting back, with her pride, she wanted to go along with Tenshi to stop this incident so she can brag about herself.
