-Ruthless means that she sometimes casts aside morals and will kill whomever she feels deserves it, or any other species that pisses her off. Its very rare that she backs down from a fight, and her primary goal in battle is aim to kill.
-Dominant. She is a female, and is damn proud of it. She will act like a jerk to those lower than her, especially the males. She rarely takes or follows orders and will only do so if she knows the one ordering her around has the capability to kill her.
-Proud. As stated above, she is rather proud of her gender and appearance. As a higher ranking female, she is well aware of what she is entitled to. She tends to flaunt her ranking to the lower females and males.
-Indipendant. Avunaye doesn't like to rely on others at all, and often declines offers of help. She beleives that the moment you are born, you should only look out for yourself. Family and friends will only tie you down.

History: Like most hyenas, her life has been a battle for survival since birth. She was born into a full litter of kits, but in a little less than a week it was down to only herself and one brother who managed to survive the brutal fights. Avunaye's mother was a high ranking female, and intended on training her daughter in the same skills she herself had mastered. Training battles usually took place every night, with her brother as the unlucky target. Still, she never killed off her brother as her mother had a small bit of pity for the male and found his strength admirable.

As Avu grew older her training got more brutal. She moved up from fighting her brother to fighting the other pups in the clan. She lost a few battles, resulting in her ears being torn. She was nearly an adolescent when she lost a rather brutal fight. Her opponent was a much larger young adult, and though Avu made it out alive she lost a chunk of her back left thigh, resulting in her walking with a slight limp for the rest of her life.

Early adulthood was filled with not only more fighting, but nagging and pushing from her mother. She was constantly lectured over loosing fights from her aging mother, prompting a surprise attack. the battle was filled with taunts of her own and she continued to beat and mangle her mother's body long after her breathing stopped. This fight didn't go unnoticed. A few other adult females and low ranking males witnessed the murder. However, Avu wasn't punished. She was rewarded for her actions, and allowed a spot in the higher ranks.
