Description
"Love that is not madness is not love. "-Pedro Calderon de la Barca
Thought I'd try something a bit different for a change.
Chronologically this should fall after "Music of the Night" and before the unmasking.
to be continued...

I like it, from the Dance!Erik version I presume. I must admit, that version has a soft spot on me.

It has a very special place in my heart as well.
That and the stage version both.
I've seen quite a few variations on theme,
and I think each has its strong points (and yes, weaknesses, too).
Resulting in my Erik being a mish-mash of many different versions...

Yes, the Kopit version I have a soft spot for, and sadly I need tickets first to see the show. I agree, they all have strength's and weaknesses too. And I too seem to have a mish mash of my idea of Erik...

This is really nice, your pretty good at doing comics, and is it just me or is that a qoute from the Charles Dance Movie?

Although it never enjoyed the acclaim of ALW version, Kopit & Yeston's PHANTOM (which Charles Dance movie was based on, of course) also has a very special place in my heart.
And yes, there is a similar conversation between Erik and Carriere in K & Y version.
Although I think I took the "in time/learn to love" idea from ALW version...
My "Phantom" world is a hodge-podge of many different versions.
After a while, it all becomes a blur.
