Uhm, Mechanicus adepts are generally very old guys... very old guys that craft stuff... I warhammer fantasy dwarfs are the very old guys who crafts stuff, but in 40k's universe dwarfs are the squats.. so... I thought... there is any Squat Mechanicus Adept?
