Description I was with a friend taking pictures in an abandoned house, when suddenly there came an old junkie with this dead bat in his hands. He just asked us what it is ("a bat?"), and then he dropped it and left. It was a bit grotesque, but we wanted to do something with it. Hope I didn't hurt the bats' feelings.

It's defiantly beautiful, especially with that angle and lighting, but I cant help but feel sad for the poor guy. Also, I love that it is in black and white!

Very good photo, not a fan of nailing but I guess it didn't hurt the little guy since he was supposedly dead. As you can tell from my username, I love bats ^_^Β

Sometimes bats appear to be dead, watch out since they are trickers to deceive you well enough with a fake death, talking about the smaller bat species. ( use a little mirror, pocket knife to check breathing, bat alive means condense ) XD Though I must say this is an great picture =3=;

I really like this picture. I like the idea that even after death the animal can still be beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't have pinned the wings, but I can understand why you did, (to keep the wings open). Over all, I really like this piece

As much as I hate to see these beautiful little guys dead, you made an amazing piece of art with this photo and I'm sure he/she is appreciative of the attention you've brought through this.
