Kopa and Chaka’s pride arrive in the pridelands, but are greeted by some unfriendly lionesses(Tazama, Kasi, Imara, and Shabaha) and roars. Vitani questions them and calls Chaka a “redmane” which is a reference to what the colonists during the Revolutionary War called the British soldiers of the Royal Navy. Chaka stands his ground and tells her that he’s the brother of Simbas son. She growls and doesn’t believe him. He, being irritated, reminds her again that he is the brother of the prince, the lost one and his sisters Shani and Kiara. Vitani has a flashback as she thinks in memory about her friendship with the prince.
