My Marik has a tendency to go to a lake when he's upset. Freezing water, he usually stands in it. But this picture is when he got there, shortly before his killing spree.He went there twice when he got his heart broken and this is the first time. Testing the waters.
He is not a happy Marik.

Nothing seems quite real, yet. The familiarity of the lake is nice, but.. It seems far off. Like a dream. Am I imagining the clouds, the sky, the wind? My cape is fluttering around, but I feel nothing on my face. The water bit me. So icy cold my skin stings. Feeling. I plunge my hand into the watery depths just to feel the pain in my consciousness. Something is real. Something is here..
