about the character:

suggested names: Cuttlefish, Lumin, Shimmer.
seawing/rainwing hybrid
can only change the color of her glowy bits and eyes
can spit venom, but cannot breathe underwater
glowy bits do still glow even when changing color
can temporarily stun enemies by flashing rapidly color-changing glowy bits (but only if she's in a dark environment)
no webbed feet, not a great swimmer
no prehensile tail, not a great climber

she was born (hatched?) in the seawing tribe but left because she couldn't swim very well. she didn't go to the rainwings because she can't climb either, so she lives with the mudwings, who are fascinated by her scales.

she's very open-minded and trusting, but this makes her easy to manipulate. not a great fighter, but she's resourceful and will fiercely defend her friends.
