Description Finally finished!
While I was working on this last night, I accidentally saved the flatten version over the original file without knowing. I found out this moring and was...so mad at myself.
So I had to paint over it to fix stuff. Well, it came out good. Hope you guys like it!

Comcept:
"Mega Beasts" are among the largest land animals. They grow to a height between 30 to 40 feet tall, and weighs in at 58 to 90 tons, though most individuals grow to about 75 tons.

During the wet season, mega beasts move to inland plains where they feed on juicy roots of plants. They use their big horn to dig up the plants then grap food with their extremely long tongues. When the dry season comes, they migrate toward the coast where food is more abundant and the climate more pleasant.

For some reason, they remind me of the reptile Placerias on steroids.

Strictly speaking, Placerias is not a reptile proper But that was the first creature this mega-something reminded me, too. (Also with this rainy season-dry season-digging up roots-migration thing... very much like the Placerias in WWD)

@the artist: great concept, AWESOME image - and a horrible name. Mega Beast? What, were these creatures named by an advertising company???

(Umm... now that I took a closer look, one other thing: do these beasts have nostrils? 'Cause I can't find them )

I'm really bad at naming things.
They don't have a nose structure. The airway opens in between the two pincers of the upper jaw.

Well, wasn't Placerias from the time when the Amniota weren't well-defined to begin with?

Placerias was quite a derived therapsid, actually. The Amniota was "well-defined" (if you mean by that: "main lineages have split") by the end of the Carboniferous, much, much earlier than the age of Placerias (late Triassic).

I'm cool with that, lol. Placerias Ankylosaur hybrid.
