Description
Finally finished! While I was working on this last night, I accidentally saved the flatten version over the original file without knowing. I found out this moring and was...so mad at myself.
So I had to paint over it to fix stuff. Well, it came out good. Hope you guys like it!
Comcept:
"Mega Beasts" are among the largest land animals. They grow to a height between 30 to 40 feet tall, and weighs in at 58 to 90 tons, though most individuals grow to about 75 tons.
During the wet season, mega beasts move to inland plains where they feed on juicy roots of plants. They use their big horn to dig up the plants then grap food with their extremely long tongues. When the dry season comes, they migrate toward the coast where food is more abundant and the climate more pleasant.

These are very organic and believable creatures you have created. It gave me a special early Cretaceous feel! Β Β

I love this painting. The beasts look huge, yet realistically sized when you compare it to the dead tree. Really great colours as well.

I could see these existing on another planet, or as a possibility that could happen in Earth's future.

Fantastic design, but I find it odd that some of the world's largest animals have tons of heavy and energetically expensive horn on their backs .

Very exiting concept
All the spikes and hard surfaces on the animal suggests that there is actually something big and ferocious enough to prey on these behemots.
THAT I'd like to see.
Or maybe they look like that because fights for mates and/or territory are really vicious?

Oh my gods... This is simply stunning! It's my number 1 favorite picture *nodnod* I'm wondering if you would mind if I used some of your creatures to build a game of sorts...

Surely that downwards facing horn is somewhat of an inconvenience when eating Very nicely done though, I can really feel their size and power. Love the texture.
