I don't know what made me do the original sketch, but I dedided it would be a good idea to color some of my own works for once. I really liked coloring Claire and I'm definately proud of how she turned out (that's a first). Especially her butt, weird but true. Steve is good, but not to the same degree.
The words are my best attempt at adding meaning to a hot mess of a picture with no real relation to the original story or context and no real story to back it up directly.

It was done in color pencil. I use that a lot because I've had the most practice in that medium and it's relatively clean.

Actually they're a 50 color set of crayola. I also use found color pencils and when I say found I mean I pick them up off the ground, but I didn't use any here.

They're pretty practical since they're not all that expensive in comparison to actual artist brands like faber castell.
I think it's practice, technique, and experimentation that makes my stuff come out the way it does.

Actually, I thought about that right after I posted it. I can't remember how that song goes, but it's youtube some where. Some of the lyrics for the song are pretty sappy in this context, but some of them would definatly fit.

It does have the right mood though. I always use songs that are about unrequited love for this pairing, so this is an unusual association for me. : D

i just relized his arm how you did the muscle line
you put the to marts above where the muscle would be sticking out
well its all in persective but thought it showed arm going into his body lol
