Description

With the snow storm cleared and the repair work finished, the Circus was back up again and Vi-vi had decided to go and have some fun there as a sort of... treat to herself. She had been working a lot recently due to the blizzard that seemed to have caught most of the islanders off guard, offering her services to anyone who was in need of it and helping those who may have been trapped because of it, even giving the people here at the circus a hand with lifting and shifting things about.

It was good to see the storm hadn't ruined everything, judging from the atmosphere. There was laughter and joy filling the air as people tried to make the most of what time there was left before the Circus would depart.

As she walked around the booths, Vi-vi watched the interactions that were going on between a group of people. From the looks of it, they were discussing and joking about some of the hurdles they had to cross whilst in their temporary totems. It was strange. Even with the totem changes, people were still able to identify those close to them like they had always been that way. The fact that this phenomenon happens only here on the islands as far as her knowledge goes had her thinking about the whole event more. It didn't even seem like those who was visiting the island was questioning much about it so whether or not it had been like this for years or they where oblivious to it was something she can't answer herself.

The Ralts continued to wander around the Circus, casually hears bits and pieces of chitchat as she paused at different games and food stands. It wasn't like she was eaves dropping or anything, they were just talking really loud that was all. Most of it was just the usual, so she didn't pay too much mind to it but, every so often she ended up picking up talks about "masks" and "Permanent change". At first she didn't think much of it, but after about the 3rd time of hearing about it, it piqued her interest and she decided to ask about it. Unfortunately most of them just said it was a rumor they just heard from other people but one or two of them mentioned maybe asking one of the Circus staff members, as it was supposedly related to the circus itself.

Vi-vi decided to investigate about the rumor and set off to look for a Circus member and soon was lead towards a tent where she was told she'd find a Mega Lucario who works here.As she walked in, a large bearded man was hurrying out of the and practically walked into her, knocking her back and onto the floor. Before she could even get a word in to apologize for not looking where she was going, the Gallade had already picked her up back onto her feet and dusted her off, apologizing to her first. After apologizing herself, he just laughed, patted her head whilst saying something about always tripping over kids before walking off into the crowd. Vi-vi just stood there and stared for a minute where he walked off...

...He thought that she was a kid...

She was going to go after him in order to correct him but instead just stayed standing there with a hand on her head. Vi-vi didn't know why, but she kept on staring for a while before soon snapping out of it as she remembered what she was here for, shaking her head as she entered the tent to find out about this so called permanent totem mask.

Why?

There was just something about this totem that she had been changed into that.... connected with her. Vi-vi couldn't quite put it into words. It wasn't like she felt disconnected with her totem she got as a kid but... after it being the 3rd time she had changed into a psychic type, you could say she was taking it as a sort of sign as well. It just seemed.... right. It felt right. There must be a reason and it was that reason that had lead her to the tent.

Omg, I haven't written anything like this in.... a long time nor did i read through again adfds. Also, no matter how many times I drew it, a ralts mask with eye holes just... wasn't working for me. But I thought it was okay like this since it's not like she's gonna be walking around with it~
