The Legion of Fastus are a former Astra Militarum regiment that derived from the planet Fastus Prime.
A world once home to a beautiful culture, and rich economy, now destroyed due to the vain and obsession of their governor over one thing. To have their world, and guard regiment to be the everlasting pride of the Imperium of Man.

His desires consumed him to the point of madness, wondering how could he make his legacy live on forever....

Until one day, an undiscovered collection of men of Iron awoke, and caused havoc among the planet.

Fortunately their forces were defeated, but their was something about the Men of Iron that the governor admired. Strong, fearless, IMMORTAL...... metal...... he found his answer.

After discovering his fatal revelation, he had made a deal with the Chaos Gods to have his guardsmen's flesh replaced with metal. Forfeiting their humanity in the process, as well as the Imperium's grace and Respect. But he would convince them otherwise.... he would show them that their decision to shun Fastus Prime and their Legion would be a fatal error.

Wanted to make a traitor guard regiment that would fit fighting alongside the Iron Warriors while capturing the visual appeal of roman armor.
